Katherine & Brendan's Wedding

I am very excited to share Katherine and Brendan's classic elegant silver and white invitations! They are getting married tomorrow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview, where Katie attended kindergarten through 8th grade. The reception is right down the street at North Shore Country Club. I created a hand-drawn map complete with illustrations of the church, country club and the suggested hotel accommodation. I LOVE designing maps, but this one was especially fun since OLPH is my church and I grew up right around the corner from North Shore Country Club.

I designed a program to match the invitations for the ceremony.  This shimmery silver multipage program is fastened together with a white satin bow I tied on at the end.  For the reception I created escort cards that have each guest's name written on the front, and the table they are assigned to inside.  These escort cards were exciting to make because first, the tables were given names of special places at University of Michigan, the college both Katherine and Brendan attended, and secondly, the different flourishes on the bottom of the cards symbolized three different meal preferences.  Instead of simply writing the meal each guest wished to eat, I wanted to change it up and create something more elegant!
